CN 2413 and 3093 lead three dead foreign locos and A404 on up Hawthorne Hill south of Superior on April 8, 2018. CN is working to double track their busy Superior Sub. south of Superior. It looks to me that this section is part of the first phase that will be finished between Hawthorne and the Amnicon River. They laid a switch there at MP 446 (aka Dans Dip) but the way the new signals are placed, that doesnt look like it will be an eventual control point.  This A404 and some other traffic could have used the double track today as the 2413 South took about an hour hit at South I waiting for northbound traffic. Another very busy day on the Superior Sub. from the sounds of it. More congestion will await the 2413 on its trip to Stevens Point further down the line.
